Acting for the Australian Institute of Landscape Architect (AILA) Elke Haege has received recognition for her valuable involvement, contribution, and time in the co-ordination of The 2009 Sydney Architecture Festival.

She was responsible for co-ordinating key note speakers on relevant topics including Leornard Lynch's discussion on the design of landscape and place as the foundations of home, our identity and real sustainability using Sydney and wider Australian project examples.

As well, Elke was responsible for compiling landscape and sustainability trivia for the inaugural ArcKwiz.

The Sydney Architecture Festival will next be on in October's Monday Public Holiday in 2010. Come along and enjoy the day.
