Soil is key to healthy trees

It is great to see some parallel thinking in the USA with the implementation of a new set of design standards to ensure new construction on roads and in public space includes enough soil so that trees can thrive.

This is aligned with our Soils Book which provides an ‘estimator’ for calculating soil volume for trees in limited spaces (such as street trees).
